HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training Workout – My latest workout!

I’m someone who recently got into working out regularly and that also started only when I realized that i have put on a lot of weight and my old cloths don’t fit me anymore. I guess your cloths are your best friends when it comes to weight increase or weight loss.
So, for the past 3-4 months, I have been doing something or the other as a physical exercise. I started by spending an hour in the gym every day, but then my schedule at work changed and so I started running a few kilometers every day. Recently my husband told me about the HIIT workout, so I started googling to get more information about the entire workout.

HIIT is basically interval training, a kind of cardiovascular exercise which involves short intense aerobic exercise with less intense intervals. These workouts can get your heart pumping and also increases metabolism because of ‘afterburn’. ‘After burn’ is a phenomenon which is all to do with oxygen. When we do a regular workout, our body uses oxygen regularly but when you push your level of workout to a very high intensity, your body uses more oxygen, which needs to be restored later. This oxygen restoration process burns calories even after the workout is over, which increases your metabolism.

Since the time I have stared theses session, I feel lighter and get the same results which I would get by going to the gym 5 times during the week by just doing three 20 minutes sessions in a week.

It’s been only 2 weeks but I feel good. The good thing about these sessions is that it’s only 20 to 25 minutes long and you don’t have to go out of the safety and comfort of your home.

I was looking for a matt neutral palette for a long time and when I started doing some research I came across the Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye shadow Palette. So I made sure I ask a friend who was travelling from the US to get it for me.

It’s a small palette which contains six full-sized eye shadows: Venus (soft, off-white semi-matte), Foxy (beige matte), Walk of Shame (nude matte), Naked 2 (taupe matte), Faint (light brown matte), and Crave (deep brown/black matte). I was surprised that such a small palette contains 6 full size colors.
I love the packaging. It’s a very good palette for travel or to carry in your hand bag. The case holds well especially the abuse the bags go through the travel. The case has a kind of rubberized finish.
The texture of the shadows is phenomenal; it’s really smooth and silky. The powder is finely milled and so very easy to apply. All the shadows are highly pigmented and so small amount goes a long way. Since the palette has both light and dark shades, it works really well with all skin tones and eye color.

I have been applying the shadows for past few days to work. It stays on without creasing for good 8 hrs. and I don’t apply any primer or base. My eyelids tend to get oily during the day and so most of the eye shadows don’t last for more than 3 hrs. This one doesn’t budge. I’m very impressed and will be my go-to palette for a more daily use.
I’m really happy with the palette and will give it 5/5. I have been reaching out to it almost everyday, especially during the work days.

With my work schedule, long meetings/calls and other stressful situations I would always run to a diet coke. I would just feel dead at the end of the day. I started putting on weight, had a lot of stomach issues. I had to do something to get my life back on track, so started reading about how I can get to a healthier  and the first thing that I read was get rid of soda!! The first thing that came to my mind when I read that was..if not soda..then what else!! And that’s when I read the benefits of green tea.

I thought I should share this with you is because since the time I have started drinking green tea..I feel light and healthier. I have also lost a few Kgs.

RiRi limited addition from MAC had three lipsticks Pleasure Bomb, a matte fuchsia, Bad Girl RiRi, a matte taupe and RiRi Woo, a matte cool red. My favorite of the three is the Bad Girl, this looks amazing on my skin tone.

It’s a matte lipstick but has a little sheen. On application, like any other matte lipstick it tends to feel a little dry, especially after approximately and hour. I generally apply a load of lip balm before I apply the lipstick.

The pigmentation is amazing. The color stays on for the entire day.

Now let’s talk of the packaging. I just love the packaging. Anything gold attracts me like a magnet. The lipstick looks beautiful with rose gold and white packaging.
