I love matte lip colors. I feel the color stays on much longer and looks more subtle.

The color ‘Striking’ is a soft bright orange based red, which will on its own brighten your look. A prefect spring summer shade. It a color which will look good on all Indian skin tones as Indian skin tone is warmer.

The packaging is in the twist up pencil which doesn’t require sharpening. The color of the lip pencil is the same color of the product, so it’s really easy to identify the pencil in a big collection.

The color is not powder matte, it is a comfortable nice soft matte and the feel is like wearing no lip color at all. It glides on softly on the lips and gives an even toe in one swipe. The formula is really light weight. I found that it might look powdery if you over do the lipstick.

The color is sheer, it does not provide a great coverage to pigmented lips. My upper lip is a little pigmented and for the best coverage, I apply a bit of foundation on the lips before I apply the lipstick.

The lasting power is good. It lasted for a good 4 to 5 hrs. with eating and drinking. Even after the moisture goes away, it leaves a good tint.

Over all I think it’s a good product for the price. I would like to try out the other shades in this range and also the other variants. It’s a must try for all the people who like chubby stick kind of products.

For me it’s a 3.5/5
