MAC Huggable Lipcolor in Out for Passion

I bought the shade ‘Out For Passion’, which is a nice muted rose shade. It’s a very every day, hassle free color. Something that you can wear with any look and any occasion. The pigment is sheer and doesn’t build up a lot. The good thing is that it wear-off really well. It leaves a slight stain behind which looks really natural.

The formula is very similar to Revlon Lip butters, but a little better. It is really easy to apply and doesn’t feel sticky. It’s really moisturizing. I really like this for an everyday wear, especially for work, when I’m sitting in air conditioning the entire day and my skin and lips start to feel dry and dehydrated.

MAC claims this formula lasts for “up to 6 hours.” I felt that it did not last for more than 3-4 hrs without eating. I have to reapply every time I eat or drink something.

The packaging is really chic! It comes in a steel grey metal tube.

Overall, I know that I will get a lot of use out of this bullet and if it is relaunched I will pick up as many colors as I can J. I would give it a 4.5/5.

MAC Pink Sensibilities Mineralize Eye shadow Review and Swatches

MAC Pink Sensibilities Mineralize Eye shadow MAC Pink Sensibilities Mineralize Eye shadow

A Fantasy of Flowers Collection was launched as MAC’s spring summer collect. The collection overall is lovely, but what I loved the most was the MAC Pink Sensibilities Mineralize Eye shadow. It’s a shimmery pinky brown eye shadow. It’s really easy to work with despite the small pan. This is a product I would run to buy!

There are four colors in the quad, three with warm under tones and 1 with cool undertone. There are two pink shades and two brown shades.

Pinky Brown
Pinky Brown

Pinky Brown shade – it’s a medium brown shade which has light pink/rosy tone. It has a frosty and metallic finish.

Icy blue pink
Icy blue pink

Icy blue pink – it’s a pink with more of cool undertones. It’s very shimmery, glittery and powdery and does fall out during the wear. The best way to use this is with a sticky base, so that the powder sticks and stays longer. Another option is to use a dampened brush.

Yellow Pink
Yellow Pink

Yellow Pink – a light yellow pink with warm undertone and has frosty sheen. It’s not too powdery but definitely there is a fall out during the wear.

Chocolate Brown
Chocolate Brown

Chocolate Brown – it’s a medium-dark brown shade with warm undertone. It has a slight reddish tone to it when applied. It’s a good crease color.

The eye shadows are fairly pigmented and does last for around 6 hrs., but works the best with the primer. You can work on the pigment with or without using a dampened brush. If you want a more sheer color then just use the eye shadow in the powder form but if more opaque color then use this with a dampened brush.

Overall I think it’s a good eye shadow especially for the spring-summer time. I found it easier to apply with my fingers than the brush, but in case you need more opaque color, you will have to use a dampened brush.

I have worn it a couple of time since I bought it and have received complements. It’s a good eye shadow if you are going out partying or on a date but definitely not an everyday eye shadow.

MAC Nocturnals Lipgloss/Pink (Limited Edition) Review and Swatches

MAC Nocturnals Lipgloss/Pink (Limited Edition)

During the holidays I received a call from the MAC store saying that the holiday limited collection was out. I just could not wait and went the same day to check it out. Even though I’m not a big lip gloss girl, I just could not stop myself from buying the Nocturnals Lipgloss in Pink.

MAC Nocturnals Lipgloss/Pink (Limited Edition)
The pack comes in 4 lipgloss weighting in at 0.08 oz each. The MAC Nocturnal Lip Gloss Set is actually an excellent value as each tube is 0.08 oz in size versus a full size Dazzleglass that weighs in at 0.06 and a full size Cremesheen that weighs in at 0.08 oz each. So essential there is way more product in these tubes(these tubes look really small)

The shades you get are:
• Fashion Scoop Clear pink (Cremesheen Glass)
• Colour Saturation Dark cool wine creme (Cremesheen Glass)
• Petite Indulgence Bright blue-pink (Cremesheen Glass)
• Dressed to Dazzle Pink tinted with silver sparkle (Dazzleglass)
All the shades are really sheer and you will have to reapply after every 3 hrs, however I love the consistence which is very gel-like and has a vanilla flavor.
This whole set is a great value for your money.
My score – 5/5
