Revlon Passionate Pink – My weekend Manicure!

As we step into the spring, I love wearing vibrant colors. The only problem that I think with wearing vibrant nail polishes is that I feel it chips really soon and so it’s really important that the nail polish perform well with regards to staying for long. Revlon does a really good job with their nail polishes I think!

I bought the Revlon Colorstay nail polish in Passionate Pink 050. It’s a lovely basic pink, something that’s not really unusual but still really pretty. In two coats I got the same color as in the bottle. The last time I wore this nail polish it lasted for a good 7 days without chipping. I’m really impressed with the color stay range and will get more from this range.

Laqa & Co. Fat Lip Pencil in Palate Cleanser – Review

I received the Laqa & Co. Fat Lip Pencil in the shade Palate Cleanser in my January Fab Bag. Before I received this lip pencil I was not even aware of this brand and so I started checking on the internet to check more.

About the Brand:

LAQA & Co. is a range of bright, high gloss nail lacquers in a pen. They work just like a real pen, only these pens let you quickly and neatly do your nails anywhere in a few clicks.

FAT LIP PENCIL:

LAQA & Co. has also created a range of Fat Lip Pencils. The smooth, buttery texture coats lips in stunning, glossy color. A handy jumbo-size, twist-up pencil that needs no sharpener!

The packaging is like any lip crayon with a convenient twist-up and a transparent cap which makes it easier to see the shade. The twist-up portion also is the similar shade as the shade of the lip pencil.

I love the texture, its matte and at the same time really moisturizing on the lips. The color is intense. In one sweep you can get decent color and you can build on with the next sweep. The consistency is soft and creamy once applied and it lasts a good amount of time on the lips. It lasted for almost 5-6 hrs with eating and drinking. I feel that the good thing about lip crayons is that it’s really easy to reapply (you really don’t need a mirror).

The color is a berry with red undertones and is really vibrant a perfect color for fall – winter. The lip pencil has a minty scent to it and it also feel kind of feel a little minty on the lips (I really don’t know if it feels sense but it feels really cooling on the lips).

Overall I give it 3.5/5. I might start like it more as days go by!

Celebrating togetherness!!

This is a very different blog from the regular stuff that I write here. Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our anniversary. As we sat down for dinner we started talking about the day we got married. Spoke about all the craziness and fun. The fact that we just kept laughing at each other and the way rains spoilt a most of the arrangements.

It’s fun to be married to your best friend. It’s a nice feeling when even after so many years of being together you still feel like yesterday.
