Colorbar Perfect Match Primer – Review

I was never a big fan of primers till I discovered L’OREAL Paris Studio Secrets Professional Smoothing Resurfacing Primer.

Since I have started using primer I have become a big fan, not that it makes my makeup go better but also because it is a great barrier between my skin and the makeup applied.

I was checking for new nailpolish when I saw the Colorbar Perfect Match Primer and I just bought it.

Colorbar says – This satiny touch oil-free primer masks fine lines and uneven texture,    making skin marvellously soft and smooth.

Sita’s Sister by Kavita Kane – Book Review

Sita's Sister

Kavita Kane brings one of the characters of the epic Ramayana, who we have read or heard about but don’t necessarily know about. The princess who is known as Sita’s sister, King Janak’s daughter or Lakshman’s wife. Authors have written a lot about the sacrifices that the main characters make but a very few people have spoken about all the people who supported the main characters.

This book is a really thought provoking book. I had a lot of question after reading this book..what really is dharma, is it to follow the roles of the society or is it to manage the personal self. What is love? Is it someone’s weakness or strength? Is love bigger than duty or it’s the other way round.

Nyassa Oceana Foaming Face Scrub – Review

I received a sample size Nyassa Oceana Foaming Face Scrub in my october FabBag. I generally do not review a sample but this is such a great product that I had to do a complete review. Though I received a sample I have been using this for around 3 weeks now as my everyday morning cleanser and scrub.

Nyassa says –

A sweet way for a soft skin starts with Nyassa’s exotic body scrubs that exfoliates, polishes and moisturizes you skin. The Oceana Face & Body scrubs give your skin an enriched cleansing. It creates luxurious and fragrant foam that cleanses your body thoroughly leaving behind a fragrance that lasts long. Formulated with apricot, the scrub leaves behind a fresh, soft and younger looking radiant skin.

Price – Rs 600 for 200 gm.

I have loved all Nyassa products so far and this is no exception.

The Oceana Face Scrub has a tub packaging with a tin lid and a plastic transparent body. It is quite a bulky thing so not exactly travel friendly.

It smells like a beach everyday morning when I open the tub. It’s an amazing fresh aqua smell that instantly wakes me up everyday!

It is a thick transparent gel with apricot granules. Once you apply it to the face, it starts to lather and the scrub starts cleansing and exfoliating. I like that the apricot granules are mild and not harsh so it is perfect for those with sensitive skin. It’s a very mild product and has not caused any issues to my skin. I think it will work well with all skin types. My skin feels really comfortable after use.

It’s a great two in one product. I will give it a 4.5/5.
