A Fantasy of Flowers Collection was launched as MAC’s spring summer collect. The collection overall is lovely, but what I loved the most was the MAC Pink Sensibilities Mineralize Eye shadow. It’s a shimmery pinky brown eye shadow. It’s really easy to work with despite the small pan. This is a product I would run to buy!
There are four colors in the quad, three with warm under tones and 1 with cool undertone. There are two pink shades and two brown shades.
Pinky Brown shade – it’s a medium brown shade which has light pink/rosy tone. It has a frosty and metallic finish.
Icy blue pink – it’s a pink with more of cool undertones. It’s very shimmery, glittery and powdery and does fall out during the wear. The best way to use this is with a sticky base, so that the powder sticks and stays longer. Another option is to use a dampened brush.
Yellow Pink – a light yellow pink with warm undertone and has frosty sheen. It’s not too powdery but definitely there is a fall out during the wear.
Chocolate Brown – it’s a medium-dark brown shade with warm undertone. It has a slight reddish tone to it when applied. It’s a good crease color.
The eye shadows are fairly pigmented and does last for around 6 hrs., but works the best with the primer. You can work on the pigment with or without using a dampened brush. If you want a more sheer color then just use the eye shadow in the powder form but if more opaque color then use this with a dampened brush.
Overall I think it’s a good eye shadow especially for the spring-summer time. I found it easier to apply with my fingers than the brush, but in case you need more opaque color, you will have to use a dampened brush.
I have worn it a couple of time since I bought it and have received complements. It’s a good eye shadow if you are going out partying or on a date but definitely not an everyday eye shadow.
