I’m someone who gets drawn towards good hair products, especially once who help with frizzy hair. I have really frizzy hair, sometimes it appears more like wild dry bush on my head and so I have to do a lot to make it a little manageable and decent. I’m sure there are other girls who would feel that hair also have mood swings, mine has major mood swings. Sometimes I don’t have to do anything and other days I have to use a combination of products. My recent discovery that has done wonders to my hair is an oil, an oil that I use after wash, the ‘Kerastase Elixir Ultime Oleo Complexe’.

This is my favorite month of the year and I have decided to talk about all my favorite products. I realized that I have done a lot of reviews but have not really reviewed all the products that I have been loving for months. I guess I started taking these products for granted, but actually these rock-stars need a special mention on my blog and what other time than my birthday month!

I have really dry and frizzy hair and I’m always on a lookout to tame down my hair. Few month back when I visited my hairstylist, he recommended this amazing smoothing cream to me. I have been using it for months now and I have seen amazing results.

Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Hydrating Hair Masque Review

Today I will be reviewing the Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Hydrating Hair Masque. My hair is really frizzy. I have an oily scalp but from mid length to end my hair is really dry and frizzy. I’ always looking for something that will take away the frizz.

This masque was the second product from Organix. I also have the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Renewing Penetrating Oil which I love.

Organix Says:

A creamy blend of cocoa butter and keratin proteins drench each strand with moisture while avocado oil and coconut oil reduce frizz and illuminating shine and long-lasting smoothness.

It is priced at Rs. 745 for 237 ml.

This comes in a chocolate colored tub and a dark golden lid. The tub is sturdy and travel friendly. The masque is of chocolate color. It has a smooth consistency. It spreads on wet hair easily. What I did not really like is how it smells. It’s a little too sweet for my linking. It smells somewhat like butterscotch ice cream, which is too sweet for me. I can ignore the smell as the product does wonders for my hair.

It’s been sometime since I have been thinking to changing my hair color. I finally made up my mind this weekend and got hair highlights! I chose bronze as it goes really well with my skin tone and my base hair color.

L’oreal Hair Spa Smoothing Cream Bath Review

I have really frizzy hair and I have to very frequently get hair spa done to keep my frizzy hair in control.  Every time I use to go for a spa I use to end up spending Rs. 1500 to 2000. While exploring the shelves of a beauty store I saw the L’oreal Hair Spa Smoothing Cream Bath, a blue tub which all the ladies will be aware of if they get a hair spa done. It’s the most commonly used product in spas.

Price: INR 580 for 500 gm

L’Oréal says-

Continue your personal hair spa experience, with this sensory massage service, after the system 1 shampoo. This smoothing formula is based on purified water, cationic agent and conditioning silicone. The hair gains manageability and softness, for healthy-looking hair with beautiful shine.

Directions for use:

Blend a generous amount of the nourishing cream bath with the corresponding scalp concentrate (1 capsule). Apply the blend to shampoo and towel dried hair. Distribute evenly and massage thoroughly into hair and scalp for 20 minutes. Comb and leave for 10 minutes using a steamer or warm towel. Rinse thoroughly and finalize treatment with the energizing scalp lotion, in case of contact with eyes rinse them immediately.

My experience –

The product comes in a tub which I feel makes it really convenient for scoping out the product. It’s a thick cream which doesn’t drip or create a mess. The fragrance is a little strong for my liking but it goes away after you wash your hair, leaving a soft post wash fragrance. I generally skip the hot towel part and use it more like a hair mask on towel dry hair. My hair becomes really soft and less frizzy every time I use it. I use it once a week to restore the moisture in my hair.

Overall I love this product and will give it a 4.5/5.
