Recently I bought the much talked about Maybelline color Tattoo eye shadow. Out of all the beautiful colors, I bought the Bad to the Bronze shade.
Maybelline says:
- Dare to wear our longest-lasting shadow.
- Our ink technology creates super-saturated color.
- Cream gel smoothes on for vibrant color that does not fade.
These eye shadows are very similar to the ‘MAC paint pods’.
The texture is smooth. It glides on the eyes easily and the good thing is that it does not dry quickly, so giving some time to blend the eye shadow properly. The only thing is that once it dry out, it looks dry on the eyes.
The pigment is very good. You don’t have to pack the color to show the color.
Bad to the Bronze is a muted bronze with a slight metallic shimmer. The shimmer is non-glitter and is muted. It’s an easy to wear color for Indian skin tones.
The staying power did not impress me a lot. It stays for 4-5 hrs, post which it starts to crease on my oily eye lids. I would have loved for it to stay a little longer as it’s a great color. After 5 hrs, it fades and leaves patches.
Overall, I love this product and would like to buy different shades from this range. This is an everyday wear eye shadow.
