New addition to my ring collection!!!

I love rings especially a statement ring. My recent love is big chunky stone rings.

I bought this amazing silver ring which has an amazing stone( I have in idea what stone is it) which changes colour depending on the light.

My thoughts:

Lets start with what I like:

I love that these lipsticks are very pigments. You just have to apply it once and that’s it..you are good to go!

The texture is creamy and slides effortlessly. It’s really moisturizing. It doesn’t dry my lips at all. It lasts for almost 5 hrs with eating and drinking, which I don’t think is bad for a creamy lipstick.

The shade is brown with a huge amount of shimmer. I’m not really a big fan of shimmer lipsticks but I don’t mind one or two in my collection.

What I don’t like about the lipstick is the way they smell. Its sweet, not the nice sweet but a sweet that makes you feel sick. I think they should change the way it smells.

Over all I think I love this for the texture and the pigment. If they change the way it smells and reduce the amount of shimmer I would love this lipstick!

MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection – ‘Goddess of the Sea’ Lipstick Review

I must confess, I’m really late in doing this review. I bought the lipstick the day the collection was launched and I have been using this since then, but still did not get to do a full review of the product.

To be honest, I bought this for the packaging. The packaging is to die for!! I have never seen any cosmetic brand come out with such stunning packaging.

The color definitely is not a summer color, it’s more like a fall kind of color. The formula is the regular MAC cremesheens. Obviously, the staying power is around 3 to 4 hours without eating. However, it’s really moisturizing.

It’s not really highly pigmented, which I really like as you can build on the desired shade in two to three applications. The color is dark mauve with blue undertone, which is good. Generally most of the mauve lipsticks have a red undertone.

 

The price is 1350 INR which is definitely more than the regular MAC lipsticks, but sometime I don’t minds splurging.

Overall, a good buy. Love the color (my first ever mauve) and the packaging is lovely!

Forever Aloe Scrub with Microspheres of Jojoba

 

I’m on a vacation with my parents. As soon as I entered the washroom I noticed a product that I was not familiar with and that was Forever Aloe Scrub with Microspheres of Jojoba. I had to try the product. Here are my thoughts on the product.

The packaging is a plain white tube, something that I like in my skin care.

The scrub has a light blue tint and has good consistency that doesn’t run along your hand. Small amount goes a long way. The scrub is very gentle. I’m not a big fan of scrubs that are beady. I feel that they are really hash on the skin and can harm the skin.

Once you apply the scrub spreads really well. I applied it all over my face in circular motion. I kept it on my face for a few more minutes. When I washed it off, my skin felt really soft, hydrated and my skin had an amazing flow.

I was not really happy with the scent of the product, but this is something I can compromise if the performance of the product is good.

Overall I’m happy with the product.

NEUTROGENA Moisture for Combination Skin Oil-Free Review

Recently I was searching for a good moisturizer for my skin. Generally people say you should stick to one moisturizer but I’m kind of a gal who likes to try different products. While searching for a moisturizer I spotted a moisturizer that says ‘oil-free’ for ‘combination skin’, that’s it I bought it. I have a combination skin and by the end of the day I feel that it converts to an oily skin. Anyways I can talk on and one about this..so back to business.

How to use?

Apply every morning after cleansing. Smooth a pearl-sized amount over your face and neck. Be sure to wear SPF 15 sun protection during the day.

The packaging the product is simple. It comes in a plain white bottle with a pump, which is really convenient to use.

The texture of the product is amazing. You just need one pump of the product for your entire face and neck. Going by the amount of product that is used every day, I think it will last me a good 6 months. The product spreads really easily and evenly. When you apply it, at first it feels oily but if you give this product 30 seconds it turns matte. The product gets absorbed really well in the skin which is good

I have been using it as a makeup base as well and it really works well.

Love this product and this is something I will like to rebuy when it finishes.
